Masura la toate, cea mai buna dreptate.

It's very hard to work when there is a Dark Arts Defence teacher sprawled across your desk, making a nuisance of himself.

As you may have guessed, a very bored, on-the-mend Sirius has called by my offices at this unseemly hour with the intent to pester me. Strangely enough, however, I am not bothered in the least. I could use the company; my tower has been feeling rather empty and quiet as of late. I blame the onset of the waxing moon.

I am, in a word, antsy.

Vrbanus, Charlie Weasley's owl, arrived this evening with his nightly delivery. This postcard may well be my favourite:

It informs me that the two delegates from the sanctuary are confirmed and preparing to travel to Hogwarts to participate in the lecture. They're seeking accomodations in Hogsmeade but I will ask Albus tomorrow if perhaps we might find them rooms in the castle. No need for them to have to stay all the way up in the village. I believe they will arrive the day before the lecture - he doesn't say who they are, though. Odd.

Am embroiled in something of a debate with Charlie Weasley. He seems to think that the Bludger defense of the Chudley Cannons far outmaneuvers that of the Caerphilly Catapults. I've no idea where he'd acquire such a notion; perhaps the dragon-breath fumes are finally getting to him. At any rate, as everyone with half a mind knows the 'Pults are far superior in every aspect to the Cannons, as evidenced by the Cannons' most recent and dismal loss to Puddlemere (oi, Oliver — well done).

I think I shall be sending Charlie a detailed, play-by-play account of that match, which may take at least three postcards.

(Not a word, Sirius. Not one word.)

Also delivered by poor, long-suffering Vrbanus: another bottle of Sange Vin as well as a handmade fireproof balaclava. A curious item, I'm almost tempted to give it to Ron, as he is the more likely of us when it comes to the threat of incineration. (A joke - sorry, Ron.)

I must go. Sirius is currently molesting a rather testy jobberknoll and causing it to molt. This will not please Severus as he requires those feathers for his Veritaserum lessons, and I don't want him storming up here in a fury over ruined ingredients. He tends to frighten the doxies.

Buna seara.

Thanks for the compliment, Professor Lupin! I didn't realise you were such a big Quidditch fan. Let me know if you want tickets to any of the upcoming matches, and I'll see what I can do!

*chuckles* Allright then, Remus. I suppose that'll take a bit of getting used to. This whole journal project has brought back my Hogwarts days quite a bit.

And what's so wrong with having an obsession with Quidditch? I like my obsession quite well, thanks. *grins*
