Well, if anyone's wondering what life as an old married is actually like, I can safely say that it is this: moist.

It is raining here at Dogear Wryde, which means that naturally Sirius had to go out into the garden for a romp as Padfoot, and of course that meant he had to come back in utterly drenched, and certainly this was a problem that could only be remedied by him shaking his fur everywhere, and as a result everything was soaked, including me.

However, I am a crafty bugger, and I have in my posession a Muggle contraption known as a hair-dryer, and I used it on Padfoot and - well, he no longer resembles a large black dog but an even larger black Puffskein. He is a ball of fluff, with some feet sticking out of the bottom and a murderous look in his beady little eyes. It is quite amusing. He could just change back of course, but truth be told I think he's a bit afraid of what his human hair is going to look like, and the camera on my desk.

I miss the boy. We both do. The house is too quiet, Rosie has no one to gnaw on.

Otherwise the day was rather uneventful, until Charlie Weasley asked me to look into an unsettling matter concerning Cho Chang, who's just left Hogwarts. Seems she was at the Burrow when she recieved a telling-off from Molly Weasley and fled in tears for home, where she then had a row with her mother and grandmother, and apparently as of last night has simply disappeared. If any of you out there have an idea where Cho could have gone, please let me know. Her mother is very worried.

At any rate, I must be off, for Sirius has turned back into himself now and is currently jumping about naked on the bed and shouting something about how 'there is some serious Black going on.' It is disturbing, and I have to go deal with him.

Cheers.

I resent that, Remus. I wasn't changing back because I feared you were going to make me clean up the mess I made.

And you do have to admit, this is some serious Black.

Come here.

Perhaps I'll be less indifferent if you come closer. Put the damn tea down.

How about when I do this?

Anything worth doing is worth the effort, my dear Moony.

You seem to have spilled your tea.

A virtue I never cultivated, unfortunately.

Does this tempt you then?

The tea is cold. I am not.

Don't make me come over there.

Ah, well, I was never one to pass up an opportunity such as this.

Brace yourself, my love.
