Sing When You're Whinging

Well, this was an eventful week, wasn't it? And it's not even half-gone. I'm tempted to barricade myself in my rooms until Sunday until the coast is clear.

I have the distinct pleasure of hosting not one, but two students for detention. just_harry will only be with me for a week or so, while potterstinks will unfortunately be hanging round until the day You-Know-Who dons a ballgown and dances the gavotte atop the roof of the Astronomy Tower. Not to mention that I now have to escort knight_to_h3 to see Professor Dumbledore before we have a dirty great redheaded nervous breakdown on our hands.

I shall have to have Madame Pomfrey procure for me the largest bottles of whatever headache potions she has on hand.

Also, erniemacmillan will be entertaining us all with his latest conspiracy theory over breakfast. It seems that I am not, as I originally thought, a werewolf. Perhaps I simply have the first and most unfortunate monthly case of male pre-menstrual syndrome on record. sinistra, onourbrooms and I, it would seem, have something in common. I am however looking forward to Mr Macmillan's presentation, as I'm sure everyone is. It will be enlightening.

In much more positive news, jadedsirius is finally interested in making an honest wolf man of me. Details to follow. Suffice it to say that this development in the week's events is the only thing keeping me from diving head-first into the lake to have a snog with the Giant Squid.

And finally, I am pleased to see that potionsmaster has emerged from his self-imposed exile. Oh, how I've missed that beaky profile.
