Gone to the dogs.
I am afraid that I won't be able to come to the Ravenclaw-Hufflepuff match today, as I have something a little more important that needs looking after:

That is Rosie, the newest member of the family. Harry, Sirius and I brought her home last night and she's been quite the handful since then. Very small and wriggly, but she has a healthy little howl in her. Sirius said she reminds him of Harry when he was a baby - "Very leaky and with all the motor skills of a Bludger." - and Harry, that was some hex you put on him after that. When will the spots fade, I wonder?
Anyway, I send my regards to both the Ravenclaw and the Hufflepuff teams, and I hope the match goes well. Sirius and Harry are there, as far as I know, so I expect a full report tonight!
Must go, the little one wants to play. Harry, she loves the little rubber Snitch you gave her. From one Seeker to another, I reckon?

Re: Look, Lavender
No such thing as too thin?
It's because I'm your friend that I'm saying this, can't you understand that? I know you don't like hearing this, and I know you'd rather I'd say nothing, or better yet tell you you're becoming more gorgeous with every clothing size you drop, but I'd be lying if I did that. Would you rather I said nothing and let you starve yourself to death? What kind of a friend would I be then? Lavender, please. If you don't believe me, then for heavens sake go see Madam Pomfrey. Ask her to tell you how much a girl your height and weight should weigh. And then weigh yourself on her scale, with her watching you do it.
Please don't make me have to go to McGonagall. Or write to your parents. I'll do it if I have to, Lav. I'm really worried about you.

What do I know about this? If what I suspect is right, well--I had a cousin who died from it.
You need help.
Now, are you going to Madam Pomfrey? Or am I going to McGonagall? You can give me your answer at breakfast. In the Great Hall. You know where that is. It's the place with all the food in it.
I mean it.
